Applying for a pension or benefit
You can make an application via My SVB. How to make an application is explained below in 2 steps.
Step 1. Log in to My SVB
Log in to My SVB to go to the application form.
Step 2. Fill in the application
If you see your name at the top of the screen, you are logged in. Under ‘Zelf regelen’, click on ‘Aanvragen’ (make an application). If you want to leave My SVB, do not forget to log out.
There are several possible reasons for this:
- You will only see the applications that fit your situation. If you want to make an application for your partner, your partner must log in him or herself.
- If you have received a letter from us inviting you to apply for an AOW pension, you have 3 months to do so online. After that, you will only be able to apply using a paper form.
- If you want to add information to an application that you have already submitted, you can do so in My SVB under ‘Zelf regelen’ > ‘Vraag of mededeling’.
