You want to authorise someone to represent you

If you prefer, you can authorise someone else to manage your affairs with the SVB.

Select your situation.

If you want to authorise someone to manage your online affairs with us at My SVB, you can use ‘DigiD Machtigen’ (DigiD Authorisation).

‘DigiD Machtigen’ allows you to authorise a person of your choice to manage your online affairs at My SVB. You must never give your personal login details to anyone. The person you authorise must have a DigiD or valid EU Login themselves and use their DigiD or EU Login to log in to My SVB.

If you want to authorise someone to manage your affairs with the SVB on paper or by telephone, you can use our authorisation form

How to use the authorisation form

You and your representative must use the authorisation form to allow your representative to:

  • request information from us, either orally or in writing
  • give information to us, either orally or in writing
  • receive our letters to you
  • request, change or add your personal details, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation GDPR ()

If you want to act on behalf of a person who is legally incapacitated, they will not be able to authorise you.

Instead, another person, for example their partner, child, brother or sister, can ask the court to appoint an administrator.
