The result of the new assessment will start on the first day of the month after the month in which the change occurred. Until a decision has been taken on the new assessment, you will receive a provisional amount of benefit.
Getting divorced or living separately
If you get divorced or you start to live separately from your partner, we will reassess your benefit.
