The changes you need to report
If there is a change in your situation, you must let us know within 4 weeks. If you live outside the Netherlands, you have 6 weeks to report the change. To avoid a fine, you must report a change to us on time.
You must report the following changes to us within 4 weeks:
- You stop working outside the Netherlands
- You stop working for an international organisation
- You are staying in the Netherlands temporarily and you stop working as a self-employed person
You must report the following changes to us within 6 weeks:
- You stop working as a self-employed person
- You are studying outside the Netherlands and you start doing paid work outside the Netherlands
- You are travelling or on a round-the-world trip and you start doing paid work outside the Netherlands
