Uploading documents

You can upload documents via My SVB. This is a quick and easy way to send us documentary evidence concerning, for example, your child, your contributions to your child's support or a life certificate.

For certain documents, such as birth certificates from outside the Netherlands or life certificates with an embossed stamp or watermark, we will need to see the original documents. You will also have to provide original documents if we specifically ask you to do so. All original documents must be sent to us by post.

Uploading documents via My SVB

You can only upload documents if:

  • the file or all the files together do not exceed 8 MB
  • the file is in jpg, jpeg or pdf format
  • you do not send more than 20 files at the same time
  • JavaScript is enabled in your web browser

Enabling JavaScript

JavaScript will probably already be enabled in your browser. If not, you should automatically see a message asking you to enable JavaScript.

Go to My SVB and log on using your DigiD code

Go to 'Document uploaden' (upload document) and select 'Bijlagen toevoegen' (add attachment).

Sending documents by post
