If your employer has paid contributions in the Netherlands unduly

Insured in the country where you live

Your employer(s) must pay social insurance contributions in the country where you are insured. You can only get benefits (unemployment benefit, incapacity benefit, etc.) or a pension if your employer has paid contributions in the right country.

If your Dutch employer pays contributions in the Netherlands

If your employer (or one of your employers) does not pay contributions in the country where you live, you should fill in the application form and send it to us as soon as possible. We will then try to arrange for you to pay contributions in the right country. Such an arrangement can also be made to cover earlier years. It is important, however, that your employer starts paying contributions in the country where you live as soon as possible.
