You live outside the Netherlands, receive an AOW pension or will start to receive one soon, and wish to apply for a DigiD code
With a DigiD code, you can log on to My SVB. There, you can report a change in your address or bank account number, or a change in your or your partner's income. If you wish, you can send documentary evidence electronically as an attachment. You can also view your details or read and print out your monthly or annual pension statements. To get access to My SVB, you need a DigiD code.
How to request a DigiD code
- Click on ‘Requesting a DigiD code’. You will be asked to fill in the following details: first name, last name, date of birth, burgerservicenummer (bsn) or Sofi number and your country of residence.
The burgerservicenummer or Sofi number consists of 9 numbers and is printed on our letters. If this number is not shown on your letter, contact your SVB office. We will then request a Sofi number for you.
- Your details will be checked immediately by the SVB.
- If your application is approved, you will be directed to the DigiD website, where you can fill in your user name and password.
- A letter with an activation code will be sent by post to your home address. With this code, you can activate your DigiD code via digid.nl within 45 days. From then on, you can use the SVB's online services.
