Click or tap ‘Continue’ to go to the next part of the explanation.

A DigiD is personal
A DigiD is personal. Never give your DigiD to anyone.
If someone else is arranging your affairs for you, or if you are arranging someone else’s affairs, you should use DigiD Authorisation (DigiD Machtigen).

Using your DigiD to log in
A DigiD consists of a username and a password. My SVB requires an additional security step.
You can log in using the DigiD app or SMS verification . You can arrange this straight away when you apply for a DigiD.

DigiD Authorisation
With DigiD Authorisation, a representative must first log in with their own DigiD.
The representative can then arrange the other person’s affairs without them having to share each other’s DigiDs. This makes the DigiD system secure.
