Slight decrease in child benefit as from 1 July 2023
The child benefit rate will go down slightly as from 1 July 2023. You will receive the new amount for the first time in October 2023.

Payment of child benefit: current amounts and new amounts
The current child benefit rate will be paid for the 2nd quarter of 2023. You will receive this payment at the beginning of July 2023.
The new child benefit rate will be paid for the 3rd quarter of 2023. You will receive this payment at the beginning of October 2023.
