Increase in child budget as from 1 January 2023
As from 1 January 2023, the amounts paid in child budget have gone up. Child budget is an extra payment for low-income families with children. Child budget is paid by Dienst Toeslagen.

If you applied for a child budget in the past but you did not get it, or if you think your income might be too high, go to the website of Dienst Toeslagen (only in Dutch) and do a trial calculation. This will show you whether you could qualify for a child budget now.
