If you want to apply for a DigiD
With your DigiD, you can log in to My SVB. You can then view your details, report a change, upload a document or authorise someone else to manage your affairs.
To log in to My SVB, you will need either DigiD with SMS verification or the DigiD app. Make sure you arrange for this immediately when you apply for a DigiD.
How to apply for a DigiD
You live in the Netherlands
You can apply for a DigiD via the DigiD website. Add SMS verification immediately or download the DigiD app. This is the easiest way to log in securely.
If you already have DigiD, make sure you add SMS verification or download the DigiD app.
You live outside the Netherlands and you either receive or will soon start receiving an AOW pension
If you are already receiving an AOW pension, or you have had a letter from us informing you that you will soon start receiving an AOW pension, you can apply for a DigiD, provided you have a Burgerservicenummer (BSN).
You live outside the Netherlands
If you live outside the Netherlands, you can apply for a DigiD via the DigiD website.
‘DigiD Machtigen’ (DigiD Authorisation) at the SVB
If you want someone else to manage your affairs via My SVB, or if someone else has asked you to manage their affairs for them, you can use ‘DigiD Machtigen’ (DigiD Authorisation).
