AIO supplement - You and your partner are separating or getting divorced

If you separate or get divorced, the amount of your AIO supplement will change. You will get the amount for a single person.

If you receive AOW pension, the amount of your AOW pension will also change. If your partner is under 65, you will stop receiving a supplementary allowance for your partner.

If you stay married but start living apart

If you stay married but start living apart from your partner, you will get an AIO supplement at the rate for a single person (70% of the net minimum wage), provided you meet 3 conditions:

• you or your partner no longer want to live together
• you and your partner live apart
• you or your partner do not intend to live together again in the future
