AIO supplement
How much AIO supplement will you get?
If you have a low income or no income at all, we will top up your AOW pension to the minimum income level that applies to you. The amount of AIO supplement you receive therefore depends on your income, such as AOW pension, wages or a benefit.
The minimum income level set by the government (net monthly amount without holiday allowance) is not the same for everyone. If you have a child under 18 or if you live with another adult, the minimum income will be different than if you lived alone. If your joint income is less than € 1,342.07 net per month, you will continue to receive the AIO supplement. If your joint income is more than € 1,342.07 net per month, your AIO supplement will stop.
How much AIO supplement will you get?
| Your situation | Your minimum income |
|---|---|
| You live alone | € 975.03 |
| You live with someone | € 1,342.07 |
| You are a single parent living with a child under 18 | € 1,227.02 |
If the net amount you received is lower than the amount stated, you will receive a higher amount in holiday allowance in May.
If you live in a nursing home, the minimum income that applies to you will be lower. Contact us for more information.
Personal capital
If you own a house or have savings, your AIO supplement may be reduced. You can only get an AIO supplement if you have less than a certain amount of personal capital.
When will your AIO supplement be paid?
Your AIO supplement will be paid at the same time as your AOW pension.
