Nationality requirements

The following most important nationality requirements apply for victims of persecution:

• you were a Dutch national or citizen during the war, or
• you suffered persecution on Netherlands territory and you later took on Dutch nationality.

Conduct

People guilty of unworthy conduct during the Second World War, for example, because they collaborated with the enemy, are not eligible for financial support.
