Are you eligible for a Wuv benefit?
You can get financial support if you meet all the following conditions:
- you were a victim of persecution during the Second World War, and
- you suffer from permanent mental or physical damage that can be ascribed to that persecution, and
you meet the requirements regarding nationality and you were not guilty of unworthy conduct during the war.
Exceptions
Very rarely, you may be able to get financial support even if you do not meet all the conditions precisely. For example, if you were a child during the war and you lost a parent due to persecution, and you suffer from permanent damage to your health as a result.
