The procedure will start as soon as we receive your letter.
The procedure is as follows:
- we will send you (or your representative) forms to fill in
- after you have completed and returned the forms, we will carry out an investigation into your service record as a sailor
- this will be followed by a medical assessment and
- a financial investigation
- finally, you will receive our decision and the results of the investigation/assessment
