The consequences of late payment
If you do not pay the contribution on time, your voluntary insurance will stop. Contributions already paid will not be refunded.
We will make a final contribution assessment
First, we will make sure that we have all the details we need on your income. Based on the income details you provide, we will calculate the final contribution for the year in which you stopped paying contributions.
If the final contribution is lower than the provisional contribution you have already paid, you will get a refund. If the final contribution is higher than the provisional contribution, we will ask you to pay the difference. If you choose not to do so, we will establish until what date you were covered by voluntary insurance on the basis of the contributions already paid.
