Voluntary insurance - The income details form

We calculate your voluntary insurance contribution on the basis of your total income. By total income, we mean your income from the Netherlands as well as any income from outside the Netherlands. Every year, we will send you a form on which you can fill in details of your income over the past year.

You first pay a provisional contribution

You first pay a provisional contribution. After we have received details of your income, we will send you the final contribution invoice. If the final contribution is higher than the provisional contribution, we will ask you to pay the difference. If the final contribution is lower than the provisional contribution, you will get a refund. This happens every year.
