Voluntary insurance - Why do you have to send in income details?

The amount of the contribution for your voluntary insurance depends on your income. We need details of your income to calculate the contribution.

No income details, maximum contribution

Without details of your income we will be unable to accurately assess your contribution and we will be obliged to charge the maximum contribution. This will often be higher than the contribution you would otherwise have had to pay. You should therefore always provide us with details of your income, even if your voluntary insurance is going to stop. We can then calculate the correct contribution and ensure that you never pay too much.
