When you are 65
Your voluntary AOW insurance will stop
You will receive an AOW pension with effect from your 65th birthday. Your voluntary AOW insurance will stop on that date. We will send you an invoice for the final contribution for the period of 1 January until the date of your 65th birthday.
Voluntary Anw insurance can continue
You can continue your voluntary Anw insurance after your 65th birthday. If you have voluntary AOW and Anw insurance, we will send you an invoice for your Anw contribution from your 65th birthday until the end of the year. If you only have voluntary Anw insurance, nothing will change when you turn 65.
