Applying for voluntary insurance
If you are considering taking out voluntary insurance, you can ask us for an offer using the form ‘Application for voluntary AOW and Anw insurance’. You must apply for voluntary insurance within 1 year of starting to live or work outside the Netherlands.
Sending in an application form
You can download an application form from this page, or ask our Insurance Office to send you one. We will do so straight away.
On the application form, you can state whether you wish to take out voluntary AOW insurance, Anw insurance or both. Complete and sign the form and send it to our Insurance Office at the address shown on the form.
We will send you an offer
After we have received your application form, we will send you an offer. We will enclose information about voluntary insurance and about the AOW and Anw schemes. On the basis of the offer, you can decide whether to take out voluntary insurance.
