TOG - What is the TOG care allowance?

Bringing up a disabled child at home can be very hard work. Disabled children need more care than children who are not disabled.

You receive child benefit. If your child is seriously ill or handicapped and lives at home with you, you may also be able to claim an allowance to help cover the costs of looking after him or her. This allowance is called the TOG care allowance for disabled children living at home.
