Remigration
Changes you need to report
If you receive a benefit under the Remigration Act and there is a change in your situation, you must let us know. That way, you will always receive the correct amount. If you still live in the Netherlands, you must report changes within 4 weeks. If you live outside the Netherlands, you must report changes within 6 weeks.
Below is a list of all the changes you have to report.
Departure to your new country of residence
Changes you need to report:
- You have decided not to move abroad after all
- You are going to leave on a different date than you stated earlier
- Fewer or more family members than you stated earlier are going to move with you

Moving house (after you have remigrated)
Changes you need to report:
- You or your partner is moving house
- You or your partner is leaving for another country
- You are going to live in the Netherlands again
- One of your family members is going to live in the Netherlands again

Family situation
Changes you need to report:
- You are getting divorced or separated
- You are going to get married or start living with someone
- One of your family members has died
- Your child under 18 is getting married or is going to start living with someone
- You have a child under 18 who is going to live with someone else
- A child is born to you

Nationality
Changes you need to report:
- You no longer have Dutch nationality
- You or your partner is going to get Dutch nationality
- You acquire the nationality of the country you have moved to
- You lose the nationality of the country you have moved to

Other income
Changes you need to report:
- Your Dutch pension or another Dutch benefit you or your partner is receiving changes or stops
- You or your partner starts receiving a pension or another benefit from the Netherlands for the first time
