SVB Head Office in Amstelveen
Our head office in Amstelveen is where we administer the details of more than 4.9 million clients. In addition, the staff at our head office work to ensure that the SVB is perfectly equipped to serve its clients in all respects and at all SVB offices. From advice on personnel management and coordination of policy implementation to the provision of state-of-the art IT and administration facilities.
SVB branch offices
At our branch offices we have service teams which are responsible for processing claims and changes in relation to all schemes implemented by the SVB. You can contact a service team by telephone, email or letter, and you also have the option of visiting one of our offices in person.
Kantoor Verzekeringen (Insurance Office)
People can apply to the Insurance Office in Amstelveen for voluntary insurance under the AOW and Anw schemes when they come to live in the Netherlands or leave the Netherlands to live in another country. In addition, the International Secondment Department of the Insurance Offce issues secondment certificates for companies posting employees abroad.
PGB Service Centre
The SVB's PGB Service Centre provides assistance for people with a PGB personal budget both by giving personal advice and information and by helping with administrative matters. The aim of the Service Centre is to make sure that people get the right type of care and carers, and to help people with their administrative tasks relating to the Exceptional Medical Expenses Act (AWBZ) or the Social Support Act (WMO).
The Supplementary Pension Insurance Foundation (FVP)
The Supplementary Pension Insurance Foundation (FVP) in Amsterdam administers the FVP contribution scheme. The objective of the FVP is to ensure the continued accrual of pension rights of people who become unemployed after the age of 40.
Bureau for Belgian Affairs and Bureau for German Affairs
The Bureau for Belgian Affairs is located at the SVB office in Breda, and the Bureau for German affairs at the SVB office in Nijmegen. These bureaus are there to provide clients with information about all social insurance schemes in relation to the Netherlands and Belgium, or the Netherlands and Germany. The staff at the bureaus inform people who start living or working in the Netherlands, Belgium or Germany about Dutch, Belgian and German pensions and child benefit, unemployment benefit, and health insurance. Both bureaus hold consultation sessions, give specific advice to individuals, and organize lectures. In addition, they have a number of implementing tasks. For instance, the Bureau for German Affairs pays German old age pension for Germans who live in the Netherlands.
Representation abroad
As an organization with clients all over the world, the SVB is represented in a number of countries. For example, we have social attachés in Ankara (Turkey), Rabat (Morocco), Paramaribo (Surinam), Cape Town (South Africa) and Madrid (Spain).
