Commissioning authorities
As an independent governing body, the SVB implements social insurance schemes and regulations for the following government agencies:
Ministry of Justice
- implementation of the Temporary Decree on moving allowance for Antilleans and Arubans
Ministry of Housing, Spatial Planning and the Environment
- implementation of the Remigration Act
- implementation of the Temporary Decree on moving allowance for Antilleans and Arubans
Supplementary Pension Insurance Foundation (FVP)
implementation of contributions system and fund management
Dutch Health Care Insurance Board (CVZ)
- implementation of personal budget administration under the AWBZ subsidies scheme and the Dutch Health Insurance Act (‘old style PGB’, being phased out since 1 April 2003)
- implementation of facility organization task for the personal budget (‘new style PGB’, since 01 April 2003)
- implementation of the voluntary AWBZ Insurance scheme
Institute for Employee Benefit Schemes (UWV) and CVZ
- liason office activities for Belgian and German affairs in the field of social insurance
- work performed by the SVB's social attachés in Morocco, Turkey, Surinam, South Africa and Spain
