What you need to do

On 1 January 2015, a new co-resident rule was introduced for the AIO supplement scheme. As from 1 July 2015, the co-resident rule will also apply to the Anw survivor benefit scheme.

On 1 January 2015, the KOB top-up was replaced by a new AOW top-up. For many people, this does not have any consequences.

The government has submitted a legislative proposal to increase the AOW pension age more quickly as from 2016 - to 66 in 2018 and 67 in 2021. After 2021, the AOW pension age will be linked to life expectancy.
