How to apply for an E101 certificate

Applying for an E101 quickly online

If you are a self-employed performing artist, you can use the certificate for self-employed persons. You can obtain this certificate quickly and simply via the link at the bottom of this page.

If you are a performing artist working for a Netherlands-based employer, your employer can apply for an E101 certificate for you. Your employer can use the following link to apply for an E101 online.

If you need an E101 urgently

If you are not allowed to perform yet because you do not have an E101 certificate, and your client has asked for one, we can fax the certificate to your client outside the Netherlands. Fill in the application form and fax it to (+31) 20 656 5888. You must also state your client's fax number and a telephone number where you can be reached.

For some countries, applications must be made within 3 months after departure

If you are going to work in Australia, Croatia, Egypt, Macedonia or New Zealand, you must apply for a certificate within 3 months after your departure from the Netherlands.
