What is the Bureau for Belgian Affairs?
The Bureau for Belgian Affairs (BBZ) is part of the Sociale Verzekeringsbank (SVB). BBZ is an independent non-profit organization specializing in social security. At BBZ, we also work for the Institute for Employee Benefit Schemes (UWV) and the Dutch Health Care Insurance Board (CVZ). Our activities therefore cover all aspects of Dutch and Belgian social security.

- We give personal advice
- We can tell you from which country you can get child benefit
- We can provide you with statements for Belgian health insurance funds
- We can help you claim Belgian old age pension or survivor benefit
