What is your AOW pension age?

If you were born before 1 January 1948, your AOW pension age is 65.

If you were born on or after 1 January 1948, your AOW pension age will depend on your date of birth. Fill in your date of birth below to find out when your AOW pension will start.

During negotiations for a coalition government, the VVD (People's Party for Freedom and Democracy) and the PvdA (Labour Party) agreed at the beginning of October 2012 on a faster increase in the AOW pension age. Under the agreement, the AOW pension age is to increase gradually to 66 in 2018 and 67 in 2021.
