  If you live outside the Netherlands and are going to turn 65 soon, or if you simply want to know how much AOW pension you can expect to receive from the Netherlands when you are 65, this leaflet will explain what the AOW is and how you can claim an AOW pension.

• No AOW supplementary allowance as from 2015 (pdf, 533 kB)

  People who turn 65 on or after 1 January 2015 will not be able to claim a supplementary allowance for their younger partner. This leaflet gives detailed information about this.

Forms

• Notification of a change (pdf, 244 kB)

  You can use this form to report a change in your situation. Simply print the form, fill it in and send it to your SVB office.

• AOW insurance periods (pdf, 117 kB)
  If you have lived or worked outside the Netherlands, you may not have been insured under the AOW scheme during that time. WIth this form, you can request an overview of your periods of insurance under the AOW scheme.
• Authorization (pdf, 106 kB)

  You can use this form to appoint someone else to communicate with the SVB on your behalf.
