AOW pension - How to claim an AOW pension

If you live in the Netherlands, you will be sent a form with which you can claim an AOW pension around 6 months before your 65th birthday. If you have still not received a claim form 3 months before your 65th birthday, please contact us.

Submitting your claim: via the internet or by post

To claim an AOW pension, simply fill in the form and return it to the SVB. You can also submit your claim via the internet (via My SVB on this page). That way, you will hear from us sooner.
