Will My SVB work on your computer?
You can use My SVB using an internet browser. When accessing My SVB, your browser will use the new PKI government certificate, which is equipped with a new security standard. This will ensure that you can log in to My SVB without any problems.
You can check whether your computer system is suitable via the website of Logius (overheid), so that you will continue to be able to use DigiD.
Is your computer system suitable?
My SVB is protected by certificates, which prevent information you send to the SVB from being maliciously intercepted.
The new protection system is not compatible with outdated versions of operating systems or internet browsers. If you are using outdated software, you cannot use My SVB.
Web browsers
My SVB works on both Windows computers and Apple computers. However, you should make sure that you have a recent web browser for My SVB to work properly.
My SVB works with the following browsers:
- Internet Explorer 6.0 in combination with Windows XP SP3 or newer
- Mozilla Firefox (version 3.0 or higher)
- Safari (version 5.0 or higher)
Google Chrome (version 5.0 or higher)
If you use a different browser, we cannot guarantee that My SVB will work properly.
Uploading files
To upload a document when you submit a claim or make a change to your details, your browser must be JavaScript enabled. This will usually be the case. If not, you should see a message asking you to enable JavaScript.
